Wood Shavings
Our wood shavings business was established early in 2019 with the sole purpose of supplying County Fair Chickens with wood shavings. Over the years we have learned that there are many applications for pine wood shavings beyond being used solely in the poultry industry. We now supply our wood shavings to wholesalers, poultry farms, equine / horse farms, landscapers, and organic waste management companies who use our wood shavings in their composting processes.

Our raw pine wood logs are sourced from various sources. We offer independent tree fellers a market for their pinewood waste which would alternatively end up in landfills. Farmers often clear tracks of land that is earmarked for agricultural expansion on their farms, we buy in the trees that are felled and manufacture wood shavings. Our feedstock and end product are 100% organic and untreated.
Pine shavings have multiple benefits when using it as animal bedding. It is highly fragrant and has antibacterial properties, it is naturally fragrant which helps with odor control and can effectively reduce ammonia. This provides a hygienic and comfortable environment for livestock.
